Maido makes membership cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet on behalf of clubs and businesses (the club). This page explains, without fine print, what data we keep, where and why. If anything is unclear, write to hola@maido.cards.

The short version: we keep your name, your email, your visits and what’s needed to update the card on your phone. We don’t keep money, card numbers or bank details. We don’t sell data or show ads.

What we keep

If you’re a member of a club

If you work at a club

If you request a demo

What we use it for

To show and update your card, let the club track your visits, packages and rewards, send the emails you ask for (your card, your sign-in code) and keep the service secure. A club sees its own members’ data, never another club’s.

We don’t use your data for advertising, we don’t sell it and we don’t build profiles for anyone else.

Where it’s kept and who helps us

This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics.

How long

While you hold a card at a club, we keep its full history: clubs fix mistakes by voiding entries, not deleting them, so your history stays accurate. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it. Demo requests are kept for as long as the sales conversation lasts.

How to see, correct or delete your data

Email hola@maido.cards from the address you use with Maido and tell us what you need: a copy of your data, a correction, or deleting everything. Deleting your data removes your account, your cards and their history at every club. We’ll confirm by email when it’s done. More in Support.

Children

Maido isn’t meant for children under 13. If a club has younger members, the club handles their sign-up with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Changes

If we change what we keep or how we use it, we’ll update this page and the date above.
